I'm back to share another one of my cards from the New Release - Spring 2016 Collection...

This is Blooming Friends (TT031) and Blooming Friends SVG Files (TT031SVG).  Such an adorable image, that could be used for so many different occassions!

To start, I cut the SVG file for this image (using the point 7 file for the stamped image) on watercolour paper. I used a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, Ranger-Frosted Lace Stickles were applied on the centres of each flower.  Glossy Accents were then added on hedgehog's nose and on top of the petals of each flower after the stickles had dried.  A Gelly Roll - white gel pen was used to add some dimples on both the little girl's and hedgehog's cheeks.

For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Kraft cardstock.  SU White and Certainly Celery was also used for layering. The white cardstock was die cut using a YNS die called Stitched Rectangle.  The designer paper is from MFT-Subtle Plaids 6x6 Paper Pad.  The Blooming Friends SVG File (point 14 for layering) was cut using kraft cardstock for the main image. Foam tape was applied to mount the main image on the card to add some dimension.  The sentiment was die cut using Kraft cardstock with a Penny Black die from the Wishes set.

To complete this card, a SU embosslit called Beautiful Wings was cut and embossed for the mini butterflies using SU So Saffron cardstock.  A Zig-Wink of Stella clear glitter pen was coloured over top of each butterfly to add some glitter.  Mini pearls were added in the centres of the butterflies.  These butterflies were slightly folded to give them some dimension and Ranger-multi medium matte was applied only on the centre fold of the butterflies to attach them to the card.  SU candi dots - kraft were adhered in the corners of the card to finish it off.
